Kirsten Haggart

Partner Kirsten Haggart trained as an architect at Nottingham University and the Architecture School in Aarhus, Denmark. After working as an architect in Malaysia, Denmark and London, Kirsten established Haggart MacLeod Architects in 2011.

Kirsten was a director at Waugh Thistleton Architects for 6 years. She was project architect for 2 Award Winning projects and other projects including restaurants, synagogues and mixed-use developments.

Murry Grove or Stadthaus is the tallest residential timber building in the world and won an RIBA Research Award. Furzey Hall Farm is a private residence in the Cotswolds which one an RIBA Award and was shortlisted for the Manser Medal in 2010.

Patrick MacLeod

Patrick MacLeod

Patrick graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1996 and gained professional experience in Vienna, Vancouver and London before establishing Haggart MacLeod Architects in 2011.

Patrick worked for Long & Kentish Architects from 2004 to 2011 as Project Architect for the British Library Centre for Conservation, the Jewish Museum London, and the design stages of The Keeper’s House project for the Royal Academy of Arts.

Previously, in London, Patrick worked for Sergison Bates architects, Allies and Morrison and Munkenbeck + Marshall on projects including a new-build urban house, conversion of a listed medical college into a new unified campus for Chelsea College of Art and Design, and refurbishment and extension of listed mid-twentieth century ‘cluster block’ high-rise housing.

Patrick has worked on several projects that have won awards, including RIBA Awards.
